Conservatories

Here at Space we believe in good design, and if design has any rules one of the first must be suitability. It’s not just about adding something impressive to your house; it’s about improving your whole living space, making it work for you.

Engineered for the extremes of the British climate and approved by the British Board of Agrément (BBA) to last at least 25 years, our conservatories are the only systems to have passed the USA’s BOCA system, the toughest testing regime in the world.

Why move home if you need extra space, the flexibility of a conservatory means it can be much more than just a gorgeous garden room:

Dining room – A place for the family to share the best of life together. Imagine dining in a sumptuously decorated conservatory as you look out across your garden. If you are looking for a touch of decadent luxury this could add an extra dimension to your home.

Second reception room – A place where you can relax and take life at your own pace. A conservatory with the latest underfloor heating and air conditioning is the best place to build your own space and luxuriate in comfort, enjoying your favourite things.

Play room – For you or your children. Imagine having a place to go that is full of your favourite things where you can make all the noise you like without bothering the rest of the family. Now imagine getting your living room back and putting all the kids clutter out into a new dedicated area where they can make all the noise they like without bothering you!

Our Customer says...
'Space built our conservatory 2 years ago and we couldn't be more pleased. We have additional living space which is stylish, bright and functional. All visitors comment on how great it looks. The service from start to finish was professional yet friendly. The timescale was met and the after care was good. We would have no hesitatation in recommending Space conservatories.'

Shape

P-Shape – The ideal style for a larger conservatory, the shape is perfect as a room with a dual purpose such as a lounge/dining area through to a fun family games room.

T-Shape – Is more suited to larger properties due to the proportions needed. A T-Shape offers a large and versatile floor space and is an impressive addition to any home.

Lantern – Choosing a lantern style conservatory ensures drama and style, representing the grandeur of times gone by. The two-tiered effect adds to the feeling of light and space. Lantern style conservatories are often chosen for swimming pool enclosures or larger conservatories.

Style

Victorian – The most popular style of conservatory. The Victorian has a faceted projection which gives a distinctive and soft feel to the shape of the conservatory. Available in 3 and 5 faceted versions, the Victorian extends gently into any outside space.

Georgian – A flat fronted style that offers excellent use of floor space due to the square or rectangular internal shape. The Georgian style is available in the Classic system for a more traditional look, or the Sunroom and Uzone systems for a property that suits a more contemporary feel.
Gable – A gable-fronted style of conservatory has a flat faced frontage which gives extra height and brings increased light into your home while adding a sense of grandeur.

Lean-To – This style is for those who prefer clean understated style of a Mediterranean sunroom. Highly adaptable, with a traditional or contemporary feel, the Lean-To can be adapted to suit any property from the smallest terrace to the largest stately home. Adaptability, however, does not bring any concessions on style with the sleek lines being refreshingly, simply beautiful.

On the job with Space Conservatories.

All our conservatories are started by digging substantial footings and laying a fully insulated (50mm polystyrene) concrete base.

A dwarf wall (if required) will be built and the cavity insulated with 50mm fibreglass. The frames are then erected and the roof installed and glazed with either glass or polycarbonate.

Internally any pipes / cabling are installed in accordance with current regulations and the plastering is completed. Any cabling or pipework will be covered to ensure your conservatory looks as good on the inside as it does on the outside.
